A new spin on wireless headphones was being shown by Korean Bluetooth manufacturer Airlogic.
The icombi is a folding Bluetooth 1.2 stereo headset incorporating both volume up/down and next/previous track controls on one of the cans.
The icombi supports A2DP, AVRCP, handsfree and headset Bluetooth profiles. Included with the headset are audio dongles for the iPod, USB interface and analogue audio.
The iPod dongle is essentially a Bluetooth adaptor for the iPod. The USB interface dongle is presumably the same but for USB, while the analogue audio dongle plugs into a standard 3.5mm stereo socket on virtually any audio device.
I imagine that the next/previous track buttons only work on the iPod or via USB with some sort of driver.
Pricing hasn't been set and it isn't available yet, but it seemed to work well. They are apparently also working with car audio manufacturers, which could lead to some interesting applications.
